PHOMI Tiles: What They Are, How They Work, and Where to Buy in Europe

PHOMI Tiles: The Complete European Buyer's Guide

PHOMI is a Chinese manufacturer that built its name on one material: MCM (Modified Clay Material), a flexible composite wall tile that replicates the look of stone, brick, and concrete at a fraction of the weight. Over 80 million m² of PHOMI products are installed globally, across 120 countries. That scale is the reason architects in Germany, France, and Scandinavia specify it - the certification trail is long and the failure rate is low.

What makes PHOMI different from generic MCM tiles

Dozens of factories in China now produce MCM tiles. PHOMI's advantage is 18 consecutive years of international accreditation, proprietary low-temperature production (no kiln), and a dedicated R&D programme for extreme climate performance. Their products are tested from arctic to desert conditions, which matters when you're specifying exterior cladding in Latvia or Finland.

The PHOMI product range

PHOMI's core line is flexible stone veneer: tiles 2–5 mm thick that flex to a 20 cm bend radius and carry Class A2 or B-s1,d0 fire ratings. The texture range covers:

Natural stone (travertine, granite, sandstone, rammed earth, quartzite)

       Brick and facing brick

       Concrete and cement finishes

       Wood grain and charred wood

WallPanels PRO stocks the most-specified textures for EU residential and commercial projects, with shipping across Europe from our warehouse.

PHOMI's "Magic Stone" range

The Magic Stone line is PHOMI's premium flexible stone veneer - thicker profiles (3–4 mm), deeper texture relief, and enhanced UV stability for exterior use. It's the product specified most on facade renovation and commercial lobby projects. You'll find it on our Magic Stone collection page.

Certifications to know

When buying MCM tiles for commercial projects, ask for: CE marking, Class A2/B-s1,d0 fire classification, VOC compliance (formaldehyde-free), and frost resistance test results. PHOMI panels meet all four. Product data sheets are available on request from WallPanels PRO.
