WavySlats 3D Parametric Walls: Designs, Patterns, Prices and Installation
WavySlats are 3D parametric slat walls: wooden slats with a sculpted wave profile that together form one flowing surface inspired by sea, rock and sand. Every wall is made to order in Europe. What does the wave profile do visually?
On a flat slat panel, every slat face reflects light in one direction. On a WavySlats wall, the curved surface spreads reflected light across a wider arc. In a room with directional light (a window or a spotlight raking across the wall), this creates a shifting pattern of shadow and highlight as you move or as the light changes. The wall reads as truly three dimensional rather than simply textured. In soft, diffuse light the effect is calmer: the surface keeps its depth without strong shadow play.
In practice, a WavySlats wall becomes the focal point of a room and changes character through the day. This is the main reason architects, designers and homeowners choose it for feature walls.
Do WavySlats help with room acoustics?
Curved surfaces scatter sound in several directions instead of reflecting it straight back, as a flat wall does. This diffusion helps break up flutter echo between parallel walls, which makes WavySlats a good fit for living rooms, home cinemas and listening rooms. If a room also needs strong sound absorption, combine WavySlats with absorbing panels, for example our wood wool acoustic panels.
Ready-made design or custom wall?
Ready-made designs: seven finished walls (FACE, SOL, LUM, AUR, VEY, ELY and MOR), from the compact AUR to the 4 m wide SOL and MOR TV walls. Each comes in 9 standard RAL colours or in veneered oak or walnut, and you can order it online at a fixed price.
Custom walls: any width and height up to 10 × 10 m, in the Sea, Rock or Sand pattern, with a 12 or 22 cm wave depth, in any RAL or brand colour, veneered oak or walnut, or natural pine. Integrated LED lighting channels, TV niches, shelving and fully bespoke art objects are available on request. Send us your wall dimensions and a photo or drawing, and we prepare the specification and quotation for you.
Patterns, depths and finishes
Patterns: Sea has soft, flowing curves like ocean waves. Rock has stronger, more angular lines with a cliff-like character. Sand has gentle, wind-shaped lines and is the most versatile of the three.
Depth: 12 cm gives a refined, lower relief. 22 cm creates deeper shadows and a bolder three dimensional wall.
Finishes: painted in any RAL colour (matte finish on MDF, 12 to 38 mm slats), veneered oak (12 to 38 mm), veneered walnut (12 to 25 mm) or solid natural pine (33 mm). Panels are built from 600 mm wide modules in any height you need. Samples are available on request.
How much does a WavySlats wall cost?
All our WavySlats prices include VAT. Ready-made designs have a fixed price on each product page. For a custom wall, our WavySlats price calculator gives an estimate based on your wall size, depth, finish and slat thickness. Delivery is not included: we confirm every order and send you a delivery quote before payment is taken.
How are WavySlats installed?
The panels use a tongue-and-groove click system that is straightforward to install without specialist help. They can be mounted directly to the wall or on a metal rail system for a floating effect, and the joins between panels are seamless. Full installation instructions come with every order.
WavySlats or flat slat panels?
Flat slat panels give a calm, minimalist look at a lower price per square metre and suit walls that should stay in the background. WavySlats are made for walls that should be the centre of attention: behind a bed or sofa, at the end of a corridor, in a restaurant or hotel lobby, or in a home cinema. How long do production and delivery take?
Production takes 3 to 5 weeks after order confirmation. We deliver across Europe and quote the delivery cost with your order. Each panel is individually packaged for safe transport. Contact us before ordering if your project has a fixed deadline.
Do the prices include VAT?
Yes. Prices for the ready-made designs and the estimates in the price calculator include VAT. Delivery is quoted separately after you order.
Are WavySlats suitable for a home cinema?
Yes. The curved surface scatters sound and helps against flutter echo, and the sculptural look suits dedicated cinema and listening rooms. Combine WavySlats with absorbing panels if the room needs extra sound absorption.
