The polyester used for the product's foundation is 7 or 9 mm thick, available in black or gray, and is recycled plastic. This material is approved to fulfill the Global Recycle Standard (GRS) specifications and is free of dangerous ingredients, including pentachlorophenol and formaldehyde. It also falls under class B-s1, d0, which is fire-resistant. The veneered MDF slats, measuring 12 mm in thickness, are attached to the polyester foundation to form the decorative portion of the wooden panel. The MDF slat is categorized as fire-resistant under class B-s1, d0, and measures between 2400 and 2800 mm in length and 27 mm in width. Veneer is used to cover the MDF slats; the buyer can select and approve the veneer.
