How to use the Sonablock project calculator
- Enter your wall or ceiling area in square metres (length × height). For multiple surfaces, add them together.
- Choose thickness and fibre size — 25 mm for maximum absorption and ceilings, 15 mm for slim wall installs; fibre 1.0 / 1.5 / 2.0 mm changes texture more than performance.
- Read your panel and pallet count. The calculator converts your area into the number of panels and whether it reaches a full pallet (the minimum order).
- Add ~5–10% for cuts and waste on rooms with many openings or angled edges.

Pallets & minimum order
Sonablock is supplied by the pallet, which is the minimum order:
- 25 mm: ~30.96 m² per pallet (~11 kg/m²)
- 15 mm: ~50.4 m² per pallet (~6.8 kg/m²)
Orders below one pallet may incur a +€255 handling surcharge. A pallet weighs roughly 370 kg gross.

How many Sonablock panels do I need per square metre?
About 2.78 of the 600×600 mm panels, 1.39 of the 1200×600 mm, or 0.69 of the 2400×600 mm panels cover one square metre. Add 5–10% for cutting waste.
How do I work out how many pallets I need?
Divide your total area by the pallet coverage: 30.96 m² for 25 mm or 50.4 m² for 15 mm. The calculator does this automatically and rounds up to whole pallets.
What is the minimum order?
One pallet (~31 m² at 25 mm or ~50 m² at 15 mm). Smaller quantities may carry a +€255 surcharge.
