100% birch plywood from the Stiga RM mill in Kuldīga, Latvia: CP grade on both faces, the sound, repaired construction grade for structural and hidden work where full birch strength matters more than appearance. Cross-bonded 1.5 mm birch veneers, phenolic (WBP) glue, formaldehyde class E1, produced to EN 636-2S (bonding class 2 per EN 314) for interior and humid conditions.
What the grade means
CP (grade IV) allows sound knots up to 40 mm, repaired knots and holes up to 15 mm, repaired open splits up to 600 mm, discolouration and curly grain, with up to 5% of the surface unsanded. Every defect that could affect strength is filled or repaired, so the sheet is structurally equal to the visual grades.
Typical uses
Construction and site work, floors and roof decking under a finish, packaging and crates, substrates for further veneering or lamination, jigs, racking and transport platforms.

Grain direction. Stiga RM sheets are cross grain: the face veneer grain runs parallel to the 1250 mm edge, the standard format for Baltic birch plywood. Long-grain sheets, with the face grain along the 2500 mm edge and usually written 2500 × 1250 mm, are the other format on the market. Both have the same build-up and strength; what differs is the direction in which the sheet is stiffest, which is always along the face grain. Keep that in mind for formwork spans, shelving and flooring, for cutting plans and for the look of visible parts, and ask us at quotation if you are unsure which format your project needs.

Prices shown are indicative, per sheet, EXW Latvia (ex works, transport not included) and apply to the minimum order of half a truck load: about 8 packs, roughly 18 m³ or 12.5 tonnes.
