Collection: Aspen Acoustic Panels

Acoustic slat panels made from solid aspen and thermo-aspen, fixed to a recycled PET felt backing. The slats give a calm, natural wood look, the felt helps to reduce echo and reverberation in the room. Choose the 30 mm line (21 x 33 mm slats) or the slimmer 20 mm line (11 x 33 mm slats), in natural-looking and darker colours, with black or grey felt.

The panels can be mounted on walls and ceilings, directly on the surface or on a batten frame. When installed on a 50 mm batten frame filled with 50 mm mineral wool, the 30 mm panel is laboratory tested to sound absorption class A. All panels are made to order: production takes 2 to 4 weeks, then delivery. The exact delivery date is confirmed with the order confirmation.

What is the difference between the 30 mm and the 20 mm panels?

The 30 mm panel has 21 x 33 mm slats on the felt backing, the 20 mm panel has 11 x 33 mm slats. Both are made of solid aspen or thermo-aspen on recycled PET felt, so the choice depends on the depth and look you want.

How well do the panels absorb sound?

The 30 mm panel is laboratory tested to absorption class A (weighted absorption coefficient 0.9) when installed on a 50 mm batten frame filled with 50 mm mineral wool. The supplier quotes an NRC of 0.6 to 0.9, depending on the mounting system.

Can I mount the panels on a ceiling?

Yes. The panels are designed for both wall and ceiling mounting. On a ceiling they must be fixed with screws or on a batten frame, glue alone is not enough.

How long does delivery take?
