Taishan Stone – Sacred Mountain Stone, Monumental Natural Strength

Honour the geological grandeur of China's most sacred peak with the Taishan Stone wall panel by Wall Panels Pro. Named after Mount Tai — the foremost of the Five Great Mountains of China, revered for millennia as a symbol of enduring strength, stability, and cosmic permanence — this MCM panel captures the rugged, ancient surface character and cool grey mineral depth of the stone formations that clad its slopes, bringing that timeless geological authority to contemporary architectural surfaces.

The bold, coarse-grained surface texture and deep grey-stone tonal depth of the Taishan Stone panel make it an outstanding specification for large-scale exterior facade cladding, civic buildings, commercial entrances, and any architectural context where material permanence and cultural gravitas are the primary design intent. Available as a single generous 3060 x 1180 mm format panel for uninterrupted, monolithic stone-look surfaces.

The monument-scale stone panel for architecture that aspires to permanence, Taishan Stone offers:

  • Sacred mountain stone surface character with bold, coarse-grained grey-mineral texture
  • Large-format 3060 x 1180 mm panel for sweeping, monolithic stone-look installations
  • Lightweight MCM construction despite the monumental aesthetic it projects
  • Excellent weather, UV, and frost resistance for demanding exterior facade applications

Build with the permanence of sacred stone — the Taishan Stone panel where ancient geological authority meets modern material technology.

1
Surface prep: Clean, dry, and structurally sound substrate required. Suitable for concrete, brick, plasterboard, and existing tile. No special primer needed for most surfaces.
2
Adhesive: Use standard flexible tile adhesive (C2TEs1 class or equivalent). Apply with notched trowel, 4-6 mm depth. Full coverage recommended for exterior use.
3
Layout: Plan sheet alignment before applying adhesive. MCM panels can be cut with standard tile cutter, angle grinder, or sharp knife for thin sections.
4
Grouting: Grout joints 3+ mm recommended. Use flexible, frost-resistant grout for exterior applications. Colour-match to panel for seamless result.
5
Finishing: No sealing required in interior applications. For high-traffic and outside areas, optional hydrophobic coating can be applied after 48h curing.
