Make a bold statement with our Mahogany Wood Slat Acoustic Panel. The rich reddish-brown tones of mahogany veneer bring depth, warmth and a sense of luxury to any space. A popular choice for restaurants, hotel bars, executive offices and high-end residential projects where presence and character matter. Panel sizes: 600–2980 mm length, 300 or 600 mm width. GRS-certified recycled polyester felt backing (7 mm or 9 mm), black or grey. MDF slats 12 mm thick, 27 mm wide. Custom sizes available - contact us for a response within 12 hours.

The reddish-brown tone deepens further under warm, low-level lighting - wall sconces or a dimmed pendant will bring out the veneer's natural depth far more than bright overhead light, which is why mahogany reads so well in bars and evening dining spaces. It pairs strongly with brass or aged-brass fittings, deep green or burgundy upholstery, and dark timber furniture, and holds its own against busier patterned floors where a paler veneer might get lost. In daylight-heavy rooms the tone lightens noticeably, so it's worth viewing a sample panel in the room's actual lighting before committing to a full wall. As with other dark veneers, an occasional dry dusting along the grain keeps the surface looking rich rather than dull.

Applications: Well-suited for offices, reception spaces, lounges and home interiors.
Installation: Mounts on both ceilings and walls.

1
Surface prep: Wall must be clean, dry, and flat. Suitable for plasterboard, concrete, brick, and timber stud walls. Ensure surface is level — panels will follow any unevenness.
2
Acclimatise: Leave panels in the installation room for 24–48 hours before fitting. Wood veneer expands and contracts with humidity — this prevents warping after installation.
3
Fixing method: Three options — construction adhesive (MS polymer or PU), concealed clip system, or direct screw through felt backing into studs. Adhesive gives cleanest finish; clips allow future removal.
4
Layout & cutting: Plan panel layout before fixing. Cut with fine-tooth hand saw, circular saw, or mitre saw. Always cut from the wood face side down to prevent tear-out on the visible surface.
5
Finishing: Panels arrive ready to install — no staining, sealing or finishing required. For walls near moisture (bathrooms, kitchens), apply a thin coat of wood wax or oil to the veneer surface before installation.
