Rich, warm and utterly luxurious. Our Mahogany Barcode Wood Slat Panel combines the deep reddish-brown tones of mahogany veneer with a mixed-width barcode arrangement on black felt. The result is a dramatic, high-end wall finish that commands attention - ideal for restaurants, hotel bars and executive spaces.
Panel sizes: 600-2980 mm length, 300 or 600 mm width. GRS-certified recycled polyester felt backing (7 mm or 9 mm), black or grey. MDF slats 12 mm thick, 27 mm wide. Custom sizes available - contact us for a response within 12 hours.
The mixed-width rhythm adds a syncopated, almost musical quality to the mahogany's warm tone - wider slats catch more light and read darker, narrower slats let more black felt show through, giving the wall genuine visual movement rather than a flat repeat pattern. It responds particularly well to warm, low-level lighting in the same way the standard Mahogany finish does, and pairs with brass fittings, deep green or burgundy upholstery and dark timber furniture. Because the barcode pattern is inherently more graphic than a uniform plank layout, it works best as a single, well-lit feature wall rather than wrapped around multiple walls, where the effect can start to compete with itself.
The PET felt backing is GRS (Global Recycled Standard) certified — made from post-consumer recycled plastic bottles. Using recycled felt instead of virgin materials significantly reduces embodied carbon compared to conventional acoustic products.
