Because the veneer and felt sit so close in tone, the panel reads differently depending on the light - warmer and more textured under incandescent or warm-white LED lighting, cooler and more architectural under daylight-balanced light. It's a strong match for oak flooring, linen upholstery and matte white or putty-toned walls, and works equally well as a single feature wall or run across an entire room without becoming visually heavy. Grey Ash is one of the more forgiving finishes to live with day to day - it hides dust and minor surface marks better than either the near-black or the high-contrast oak options, which makes it a practical choice for busy hallways and family living spaces as well as considered Scandinavian interiors.

The PET felt backing is GRS (Global Recycled Standard) certified — made from post-consumer recycled plastic bottles. Using recycled felt instead of virgin materials significantly reduces embodied carbon compared to conventional acoustic products.
