Our wood slat acoustic panels combine natural wood veneer slats with a GRS-certified recycled PET felt backing. The felt absorbs mid and high frequency sound — reducing echo and improving room clarity. The wood brings warmth and depth that no paint or wallpaper can match.

Designed for modern European interiors, these panels are ideal for restaurants, offices, hotels, commercial interiors, public buildings and residential spaces.

Perfect for wall cladding, ceiling installations and custom furniture elements. Custom heights from 500 to 2970 mm available — panels cut to your exact wall height and priced at the next standard size up.

Veneered MDF — oak, ash, walnut, mahogany and more. 13mm slat thickness.

Backing material

GRS certified recycled PET felt — 7mm thick. Made from post-consumer recycled plastics.

20mm total — 13mm slats + 7mm felt backing.

Panel Designs

Standard slat

Evenly spaced vertical slats, the classic wood slat look. A calm, uniform rhythm that suits almost any interior.

Barcode

Asymmetric slat widths in a varied, dynamic rhythm, like a barcode. A premium designer look for feature walls that stand out, available in Oak, Walnut, Mahogany, Sapelli, Ash and more.

Hexa

Hexagonal geometric panels for a bold, modern statement beyond straight slats. A distinctive six-sided design in the full range of wood veneers on the same GRS recycled felt backing.

How to Install

Surface prep: Wall must be clean, dry and flat. Suitable for plasterboard, concrete, brick and timber stud walls.

Acclimatise: Leave panels in the installation room for 24–48 hours. Wood veneer expands and contracts with humidity.

Fixing method: Construction adhesive (MS polymer or PU), concealed clip system, or direct screw through felt backing into studs.

Cutting: Fine-tooth hand saw, circular saw or mitre saw. Always cut from the wood face side down to prevent tear-out.

Finishing: Panels arrive ready to install. For moisture-prone areas apply a thin coat of wood wax or oil before installation.

Frequently Asked Questions

What wood species are available?

We offer a wide range of natural wood veneers including oak, ash, walnut, mahogany and more across 27+ finishes. Each veneer is applied to MDF for stability. Lacquer or oil finishing is available on request.

What is the Barcode design?

Barcode panels use slats of varied, asymmetric widths arranged in a dynamic rhythm, rather than the even spacing of standard slats. It is a premium designer look for feature walls, available across our oak, walnut, mahogany, sapelli and ash veneers.

Do you offer hexagonal (Hexa) wood panels?

Yes. Our Hexa range is a hexagonal, geometric take on the wood slat panel, a bold modern statement in the same natural veneers and on the same GRS certified recycled felt backing.

Can I get a custom height?

Yes — any height between 500 and 2970mm is available as a custom cut. Panels are cut from the next standard size up (600, 2400, 2780 or 2970mm) so pricing is based on that standard size. Contact us for a custom project quote.

What is the minimum order?

Minimum order is 2 panels. There is no maximum — we handle both small residential orders and large commercial projects.

Are the panels acoustic?

Yes — the GRS certified recycled PET felt backing provides an NRC rating of 0.65–0.85, effectively absorbing mid and high frequency sound. This reduces echo and improves room clarity without requiring separate acoustic treatment.

Can I get physical samples?

Yes — we strongly recommend ordering samples before any bulk order. Contact us with the finish names you are interested in and we will arrange sample shipment within 3–5 business days.
