Travertine 1546: warm quarried character in a Tysten SPC panel

Decor 1546 reproduces open-pored travertine at the scale architects actually specify it: a warm beige ground, soft horizontal bedding lines and the fine vug texture that gives quarried stone its depth. Printed and embossed in register on a rigid stone polymer composite core, the finish carries across the full 1200 mm panel width without the repeat that gives cheaper reproductions away.

Where decor 1546 performs

• Wet rooms and shower enclosures, where a continuous travertine face removes the grout lines that collect soil and fail first.
• Hotel and residential bathrooms that need a warm stone tone against brassware and timber joinery.
• Reception walls, spa suites and treatment rooms where natural travertine would be specified but sealing and weight rule it out.
• Kitchen and utility splashbacks that must take heat, moisture and routine cleaning without staining.

Why SPC rather than quarried travertine

• Fully waterproof through the body of the panel. No sealing schedule, no re-sealing, no open pores to absorb water or cleaning products.
• A fraction of the dead load of stone slab, so 1546 goes onto stud partitions and existing tile without structural allowance.
• Consistent decor between sheets. Batch variation and slab matching stop being a programme risk.
• Cut on site with a standard track saw or scoring knife. No wet cutting, no slurry, no specialist stone trade on site.
