Ondergrondvoorbereiding: De wand moet schoon, droog en vlak zijn. Geschikt voor gipsplaat, beton, baksteen en houten stijlwanden. Zorg dat het oppervlak vlak is: de panelen volgen elke onregelmatigheid.

Acclimatiseren: Laat de panelen 24–48 uur in de installatieruimte liggen voordat u ze monteert. Houtfineer zet uit en krimpt met de luchtvochtigheid: dit voorkomt kromtrekken na installatie.

Bevestigingsmethode: Drie opties: constructielijm (MS-polymeer of PU), verborgen klemsysteem, of direct schroeven door de viltbacking in de stijlen. Lijm geeft de netste afwerking; klemmen maken toekomstige verwijdering mogelijk.

Indeling en zagen: Plan de indeling van de panelen voordat u ze bevestigt. Zaag met een fijngetande handzaag, cirkelzaag of verstekzaag. Zaag altijd met de houten zijde naar onder om uitscheuren op het zichtbare oppervlak te voorkomen.

Afwerking: De panelen worden installatiegereed geleverd: beitsen, verzegelen of afwerken is niet nodig. Voor wanden nabij vocht (badkamers, keukens) brengt u vóór installatie een dunne laag houtwas of -olie aan op het fineeroppervlak.

De PET-viltbacking is GRS (Global Recycled Standard) gecertificeerd: gemaakt van gerecyclede plastic flessen na consumentengebruik. Het gebruik van gerecycled vilt in plaats van nieuw materiaal vermindert de koolstofvoetafdruk aanzienlijk in vergelijking met conventionele akoestische producten.
