Birch plywood from Latvia for trade & export
Sanded and film-faced 100% birch, phenolic bonded, PEFC, CE and CARB certified. Made to order and supplied by the half truck across Europe or by the container worldwide. Indicative prices per sheet, EXW Latvia.
Why Stiga birch
Not a mixed-core import: every ply is Latvian birch, phenolic bonded.
100% birch, every ply
No softwood or poplar core. 1.5 mm veneers, about 680 kg/m³, the stiffness and screw-holding only full birch gives.
Phenolic bonding
WBP glue, formaldehyde class E1. Sanded grades to EN 636-2S (humid conditions); film-faced sheets to EN 636-3S (exterior).
Certified for export
PEFC (FSC Mix on request), CE per EN 13986, UKCA, CARB Phase 2 and TSCA Title VI, IKEA IOS-MAT-0181, Japanese F4, EPD, REACH.
Made to order
The mill holds no stock. Production takes up to 3 weeks depending on season, then transit. Capacity about 60,000 m³ a year, so repeat volumes are not a problem.
Europe by truck
Loaded in Latvia, 2 to 4 days by road to Germany, Poland, the Benelux and Scandinavia.
Worldwide by container
20 ft and 40 ft loads from Riga to any port. CARB, TSCA and F4 approvals cover North America and Japan; UKCA covers the UK.

Frequently asked questions
Is the price per sheet or per cubic metre?
+Per sheet on this page and on the product pages. Multiply by sheets per pack for the pack price; a pack of 18 mm BB/BB is 40 sheets, about €2,638. Per cubic metre pricing is available on request.
How long does an order take?
+The mill produces to order and holds no stock. Count on up to 3 weeks of production depending on season, then 2 to 4 days by truck within Europe or 4 to 7 weeks by sea overseas.
Do you ship outside Europe?
+Yes. Overseas orders are quoted per container, with the CARB, TSCA, F4 and chain-of-custody documents that importers in North America, Japan and elsewhere need.
Can I order less than half a truck?
+Not at these prices. Smaller quantities are possible through our Latvian warehouse at a higher sheet price and with transport charged separately.
Do the prices include delivery?
+No. They are EXW Latvia. We quote delivered prices to any EU address or port on request; a half truck to Germany or Poland typically adds a few euros per sheet.
Which grade should I choose?
+BB/BB where both faces are seen, BB/CP where one face is hidden, CP/CP for structural and covered work, C/C for packaging and site use, film-faced F/F for concrete formwork and wire-mesh F/W for floors that must not be slippery. S grade for furniture faces is available on request.
Are the certificates available?
+Yes. PEFC and FSC chain-of-custody certificates, the CE and UKCA certificates, CARB and TSCA, E1, F4 and the EPDs are supplied with the quotation or on request.
