Natural wood wool cement board (WWCB) acoustic panels, also known as fibrolite, made from sustainably sourced wood fibres bound with Portland cement. Sonablock 35mm 1.0mm delivers genuine sound absorption, Euroclass B-s1,d0 fire rating, and a durable mineral surface for demanding commercial and public interiors. A sustainable, EU-made alternative to Heraklith and Troldtekt wood wool panels.
The 1.0mm fine fibre gives the densest, most refined surface of the three fibre sizes - ideal for corporate offices, healthcare, and hospitality spaces where a clean, precise aesthetic is required alongside acoustic performance. The thicker 35 mm build is intended for deeper absorption at low frequencies in the same footprint: sports halls, auditoria, music rooms, and ceilings in large volumes.
Manufactured by Stiga RM - a PEFC-certified Latvian producer. Made to order: production takes about 4 weeks (not stocked).
Acoustic Performance
- Sound absorption up to αw 0.85 depending on specification, thickness and installation height (manufacturer datasheet, 35 mm)
- Independent test data: RISE Research Institutes of Sweden report O100282 (SS-EN ISO 354 / SS-EN ISO 11654) covers the 25 mm panel: αw 0.60 (Fibre 1.0 mm, ODS 200 mm)
