The Anthracite Aspen Acoustic Slat Panel combines solid aspen slats in an anthracite (black anthracite) colour and a recycled PET felt backing. The dark anthracite tone suits modern, dramatic interiors and works well in dim, atmospheric rooms. Each panel is 600 mm wide and 30 mm thick, with 33 mm wide, 21 mm high slats set 17 mm apart. Choose a panel length of 2400, 2800 or 3000 mm (nominal).
The panel is supplied on black felt. On a wall the panel works behind a bed, sofa or desk and in hallways and offices; on a ceiling it adds texture without a heavy colour block. The slats are finger-jointed aspen, which keeps the panel stable and makes good use of the timber. Matching end mouldings, felt end strips, corner profiles, socket plates, fixing screws and a cutting plate are sold separately.

Acoustics. Laboratory tested to sound absorption class A with a weighted absorption coefficient of 0.9 when the panels are installed on a 50 mm batten frame filled with 50 mm mineral wool. The supplier quotes an NRC of 0.6 to 0.9 depending on the mounting system, so a batten frame with mineral wool is recommended where acoustics matter most.
Installation. Fix directly to a wall with suitable adhesive (MS polymer adhesive) or with screws, or screw the panels to a batten frame prepared on the wall or ceiling. Plan about 18 screws per panel, with fixing points at most 700 mm apart. Cut to size with a circular saw and a fine-toothed wood blade, using the cutting plate under the panel for a clean edge.
